The phone app will probably be the most interesting and a little bit strange feature because all phone users will be able now to decide if they want to pick up a phone call. So, this feature will detect calls from unknown numbers, and will automatically answer the call and ask the caller’s name and the purpose of the call.
All these details will appear on the Apple iPhone screen, in order to give the user the option to decide if the call is worth answering or not.
Now, all the members in an iMessage group chat have the option to create polls that help the entire group decide big events or important group decisions. Apple Intelligence will also suggest based on their messages if a group chat will need a poll.
Even more so, the members of a group chat can request, send, and even receive Apple Cash directly, to make things easier for vacation planning, or events where everybody contributes.
A useful feature given the fact that now the number of scam messages and even calls has increased, is that the Messages app will automatically organize the messages from unknown numbers in a certain folder where users can take different actions, such as deleting the message or accepting it.
Apple iPhone users will be able to scan in their Apple Wallet a digital version of their Passport. Called Digital ID, it is believed to be just an extension of your physical passport, in situations where apps request verification of your identity.
For flights, Apple will share real-time updates and will display various details such as the remaining time, arrival gate, or, even information about your luggage.
Live Translation will also be integrated into the FaceTime App, making communication with other people more convenient. So, when you have a call with someone who speaks a different language, the app will automatically display a translation, in order to have a real conversation without needing to speak the same language.|
Apple is introducing a ChatGPT integration with Image Playground, which allows users to generate images in different new styles such as vector art or even oil painting. Users can also use the “Any Style” feature that allows them to describe what exactly they want, and Image Playground takes care of the rest to send the input directly to ChatGPT.
These are just some features that have been revealed at the WWDC 2025 Apple event, but more impressive capabilities will be launched along with the new iOS26.
Stay tuned for more updates!
