You can watch the Nintendo Direct event directly on their YouTube channel, where the live stream will be available today, April 2 starting at 6:00 a.m. PT/ 9:00 a.m. ET. As stated in their website announcement, in YouTube’s description, and on their X account this event is planned to offer game enthusiasts a much closer look at the new Nintendo Switch 2 gaming console.
In the recent teaser, Nintendo made publicly available the new Nintendo Switch 2 design, but the company didn’t reveal any software features, which made game fans wonder when this impressive console will be officially released.
Compared with the first version of Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch v2 features a new button on the Joy-Con, which intrigues a lot of gaming enthusiasts about its purpose and functionality. In the first design announcement, Nintendo revealed that users will be able to have a more complete experience due to the bigger screen on the console and bigger Joy-Cons, which will significantly improve their gaming skills.
We don’t know for sure if Nintendo is planning to also release the official launch date, or if they will continuously hide this information from the public. But, game specialists, game fans, and console lovers are expecting to see what new games are developed especially for the Nintendo Switch v2.
Even more so, the official price has not been revealed yet, but all console lovers are hoping that the Nintendo Switch price will not be radically changed compared to the first version of Nintendo Switch, which was released with a price of $400.
