The announcement was made at Coperni’s Fall Winter ‘25 fashion show, where models wore the frames, while also recording the entire event, to highlight the incredible capabilities. At the same time, Mark Zuckerberg, Meta CEO, also posted a picture on the WhatsApp community of him wearing the glasses.
“Repping the new limited edition Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni frames last night. Dropping tomorrow.” – said Zuckerberg in his official announcement.
There are only going to be 3,600 pairs available. And given the high demand for the standard Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, collectors are sure to quickly grab this exclusive edition.
Meta announced that the branded edition of the smart glasses will offer the same features as the other models, with a built-in camera and open-ear audio, allowing users to see and hear everything around them. Plus, they are also coming with new capabilities, such as Shazam support, voice-controlled content search on Spotify and Amazon Music, and “the ability for Meta AI to help you remember things”.
For Early Access members in the US and Canada, even more features have been added: the new live AI and real-time translation features, enabling translations between English and Spanish, Italian, or French.
“The Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition Wayfarer merges high fashion with advanced AI technology. Featuring sleek design, Grey Mirrored lenses, and seamless connectivity, this exclusive edition offers camera, audio, and voice assistant functions to capture every moment while staying connected.”
The Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition smart glasses can now be purchased online directly from Meta, Ray-Ban, and Coperni websites, for $549 USD.
