“This is an injunction, not a negotiation,”, The U.S. court Judge stated in the recent court order. The U.S. judge also accused Apple of trying to avoid the court’s order using unreasonable rules and conditions.
It should be mentioned that after the April 30 U.S. judge's decision, the iPhone maker respected the judgment and changed quickly the App Store standards for the U.S. developers, and has approved different app updates for allowing users to make in-app purchases.
"Apple sought to maintain a revenue stream worth billions in direct defiance of this court’s injunction,", the U.S. Judge also stated.
According to different sources familiar with the matter, Apple’s appeal was filed on Monday because the company believes that has followed the court ruling. After the U.S. court decision, the iPhone maker allowed the app developers to update the in-app purchases.
At the same time, Apple required a 27% commission for purchases outside of the App Store and demanded a pop-up notification to warn users of the dangers that might appear when using the in-app purchase feature.
When asked about this recent situation, the Apple company denied any accusations and did disclose additional details.
