Currently, Google is offering only one premium subscription version of the Gemini AI model for $20 per month, which unlocks more features and capabilities compared to the free version. But during this Google conference, the company will probably add two new subscription plans - Premium Plus and Premium Pro.
We don’t know how much these paid subscriptions will cost or what functionalities they will feature, but we must wait and see what the Google I/O conference will bring us.
For the Android software operating system that runs on smartphones, it seems that the company will talk about it tomorrow, May 13, in a Google event called The Android Show: I/O Edition.
So, the main topic will be the new Android 16 version, which will most probably have an improved notifications system along with a new design language. Also, Android 16 is expected to introduce support for Auracast, a feature that is compatible with hearing aids and that can use the smartphone to connect the hearing aid to audio broadcasts when the environment becomes too noisy.
Even more so, we must mention that other impressive features are expected to be released for the Google apps and platforms, but we haven’t read any rumors about them.
Stay tuned for more Google I/O 2025 conference updates!
