He’s following Michael Jordan’s steps not only basketball-wise but money-wise as well!
While he’s not

While he is not able yet to acquire his own basketball team, because he is still an active player and the regulations of the NBA don’t permit it (conflict of interests), it’s a future prospect that is truly believable. These are just GOAT activities. Jordan owns the Charlotte Hornets which compete in the NBA. It will be interesting to see years from now clashes between the teams of the two greatest basketball players of all time. We truly hope it will happen.
But going back to sports, LeBron is not only basketball affiliated. First of all, he is a part-owner of the Major League Baseball team, Boston Red Sox. He acquired a 1% stake in the team two years ago and is expected to see a fruity return on investment.
James also has a passion for football (soccer, if you like), especially England football. He is a big fan of Liverpool and decided to capitalize on his love for the club. His 2% stake in the club can prove to be huge in the following years as Liverpool knocks around 700 million dollars in revenue per year.
See what we did there? Ok, we’ll see ourselves out. But listen - back in 2011, LeBron saw the opportunity and potential of a small-known pizza chain called Blaze Pizza. Fast-forward over ten years later, and guess what? The pizza franchise is one of the most popular in America and brings great revenue year after year. LeBron himself has around 20 pizza shops around the country.
And it turned out to be such a smart investment that it brought LeBron around 35 million dollars in five years. For a pizza joint, that’s a lot!
It was inevitable! Since his announcement as a Lakers player, people were sure that his attention will move to the movie business. Lebron’s company, “Springhill Entertainment” produced the sequel to Space Jam, “A New Legacy”. While the first film had Michael Jordan, this one introduced the world to the other NBA superstar, LeBron James.
But, let’s be honest - it did not do as well box-office-wise. We can even call it a box office bomb. LeBron saw it as a great opportunity to shed some light on his investing moves. Even though the film ultimately failed to bring any profit, it made people aware of Springhill. One year later, the company produced the critically acclaimed Adam Sandler film, Hustle. You see - it has a lot of potential. And many more films are in production right now!
What can we say about Bron - he’s not only killing it on the basketball court but in business as well. His empire will continue to grow and we are excited to see what he will do after he retires from the sport that made him famous. It’s probably going to take a few years since he plays as well as ever, but it will come!
