The reports of outages in Canada and the U.K. lower under 100, beginning from over 3.300 in Canada and 1.6000 in the U.K. as of 11:20 P.M.
Although the precise reason behind the outage is not known until now, users said they were not able to access Elon Musk social media platform X, and on the screen appeared the typical message: “Something went wrong. Try again.”
As expected, the internet was inundated with memes while the social media platform was down. A person stated: “Me checking Twitter search to see whether Twitter is down:”. Another said: “People coming out of their house to confirm did the world end after Twitter/X was down”. In May, Elon Musk's social media platform X completely transformed into X.com, and its logo and branding were also revised.
Elon Musk has constantly included the letter X in the branding of his companies, beginning in 1999 with his try to establish a digital financial superstore named X.com.
X has been prone to tech outages and glitches since its rebranding and management under Elon Musk. X has faced several controversial situations this year. One of the most significant is the intended lawsuit by former CNN star Don Lemon. This happened after X canceled its partnership with Lemon CNN’s anchor back in March after he declared that Elon Musk was going to be his main guest in an interview.
