We don’t know what features those Apple smart glasses will have, but we know for sure that they will become very popular soon, considering the fact that Apple is a company worldwide known for its innovations.
From an internal message, we found out that Apple has already started to relocate employees for this smart glasses project in order to accelerate the whole process. Maybe the technology is already created, but it still needs a certain amount of time to create the whole glasses design, along with many other features.
When launched, the Apple Vision Pro model was priced at $3,499, which was considered to be an unjustified price for a pair of glasses. As time passed, Apple demonstrated that the technology was really impressive, but still, many people couldn’t afford it.
Since their launch in 2024, various other companies, such as Meta or Xiaomi, have released their own versions of smart glasses, with a more affordable price, which sparked a lot of debates because customers didn’t even consider buying the Apple Vision Pro model.
According to the same Bloomberg report, it seems that right now Apple has a plan to create two smart glasses models.
The first one, mentioned above as N100, is planned to be released in 2028 and will most probably feature a built-in display, similar to Meta.
The other one, code-named N50, will be a pair of smart glasses without a built-in display, but it will probably feature one of two cameras that can analyze the environment and make recommendations based on the surroundings with the help of artificial intelligence. This model is scheduled internally to be released in 2027, but we can’t make a statement as Apple hasn’t revealed anything.
Apple is indeed a little behind Meta in this smart glasses competition, but the giant doesn’t necessarily focus on this kind of device, as Apple is globally known for its phones, laptops, tablets, and other smart devices that are powerful and provide impressive performance.
