Anti-monopoly lawyers who haven’t directly handled the Elon Musk lawsuit case affirmed that Apple holds a leading position in the tech industry, and the connection between Apple’s smartphones and OpenAI’s ChatGPT can be considered an unlawful partnership.
In addition, they argued that Apple can defend the case by stating that the collaboration with OpenAI was strictly business-related in a high-stakes market and that they don’t owe support for other competitors and their businesses.
