Tesla posted a 9-second-long video on their X (formerly Twitter) account that features a new car model, but in a very dark background, so we can’t see the actual design. We can distinguish the fact that it is a new car model, because the only thing that illuminated that dark background was the interesting EV headlights that had an interesting design.
According to different analysts and investors who are interested right now in Tesla’s plans, it seems that the electric vehicle manufacturer is planning a more affordable EV car model.
Also, in a completely separate video posted on the same social media account, we can only see a Tesla wheel that displayed the official Tesla event date, October 7, 2025.
We don’t know for sure what details Tesla wants to hint at with these two videos, but we know for sure that at least one car will be announced during the October 7 Tesla event.
The EV manufacturer was supposed to launch the more affordable version of the Tesla Model Y electric vehicle in the United States a couple of months ago in June. But this launch was based on Tesla’s declaration, which promised that this more affordable version of the EV would be launched starting with the fourth quarter of the year.
Some sources are tempted to believe that the more affordable Model Y version will have a 20% lower price compared to the original model, and will probably be manufactured in about 250,000 units a year.

It should be mentioned that on September 30, the $7,500 U.S. EV tax credit expired, so maybe Tesla has a plan to reorganize the pricing strategy for the next electric vehicle launched. If Tesla will indeed change their pricing and make them more affordable, most probably more consumers will change their minds and choose an electric vehicle that has multiple benefits and features.
Stay tuned to be the first to find out about the newly launched Tesla vehicle!
