We don’t know for sure when exactly they will become worldwide available to use as some users are now reporting that new ChatGPT features have disappeared, indicating possibly that they were released too soon by mistake.
So, the new menu is likely more an aesthetic update rather than a significant technical improvement, due to the fact that the previous feature addition was about prompt engineering to shape the OpenAI chatbot style and tone in conversations. It seems that the updated menu is still based on prompt engineering but is presented to users in a more easy-to-use way.
As the AI ChatGPT user base is expanding gradually, OpenAI is looking for various methods the refine the chatbot in order to be the most helpful for all users. Recently, OpenAI has launched a live web search and also a new “Canvas” interface for those who are looking to use AI ChatGPT for writing and coding projects. And according to OpenAI, about 300 million people are using the OpenAI chatbot every week.
