The first Beta version of iOS 26 was released in June, during the WWDC 2025 event, when Apple impressed all the attendees with a whole new stunning design, which aimed to imitate the transparency of glass, under the name “Liquid Glass.”
Even though the first version seemed, at first glance, perfect, as more users interacted with iOS 26, they observed various minor or major issues that needed to be improved quickly. Users have noticed major problems with the transparency of the control center as well as the notification menu, so that’s why Apple quickly released the beta 2 versions of iOS 26 Liquid Glass to address these.
Now, the Beta 3 version is focusing on addressing issues such as the Navigation bar, Apple Music, and other first-party apps from Apple. It seems that users had problems again with the transparency of different elements, so now Apple wants to resolve these issues by increasing the contrast and making those elements less translucent.
Besides the improvements that Apple made, in the beta 3 version, the iPhone maker also added 4 new stunning wallpaper colors: Shadow, Sky, Halo, and Dusk. The first three shades are all different kinds of blue, but the last color is a remarkable purple.
Are these wallpaper colors hinting at the new colors that will be released on iPhone 17? We don’t know for sure, but maybe a Blue and Purple color will be available for the iPhone 17 line.
Even though Apple tries to address as many issues as possible, there are still numerous, maybe small issues that users notice, because they are using and interacting with the iOS 26 Liquid Glass every day.
What all users need to know is the fact that all these iOS 26 versions represent only developer beta versions, so it’s almost impossible not to find problems and issues with this operating system.
Stay tuned to be the first to find out when the official version of the iOS 26 Liquid Glass will be released!
