According to a recent Sony announcement, gaming fans will see the much-anticipated game Saros, which is the newest addition to the Returnal studio Housemarque. It appears that approximately 5 minutes of the event are scheduled to showcase the Saros game, along with its new features, designs, and characters. Even though the Saros game will not be available until next year, Sony still believes that a trailer is a good way to reveal it and see how gaming fans are perceiving it.
Hate to disappoint the gaming community, but unfortunately, this Sony State of Play event will probably not feature a new version of PlayStation. Even though the PlayStation 5 was released about 5 years ago, it is still a relatively new gaming console that has a lot of interesting features and capabilities.
Although it seems that a PlayStation 6 has already been confirmed and is currently under development, the release date is expected to be revealed in 2027. Until then, we will receive numerous new PS5 games that will leave the gaming community speechless.
Even more so, it seems that we will probably get another look at Wolverine from Marvel. This game stayed under the radar since the studio behind Spider-Man, Insomniac, announced it in September 2021, 4 years ago. However, since then, the gaming community hasn’t seen another update on Wolverine, and only rumors have been circulating that this game has been paused to focus on the “Perfect Dark” game for Xbox, which has now been cancelled too.
As PlayStation stated, all gaming fans and people curious about the new releases can watch the Sony State of Play event directly on their YouTube channel or on the Twitch platform, where the event will be broadcast live. The good news is that the event will be broadcast in English, but it will also have Japanese subtitles.
