Doppl will surely become very popular among fashion enthusiasts because it allows users to create a digital version of themselves. To create this digital version, the Doppl app lets them upload a head-to-toe photo. The artificial intelligence technology will scan your photo in order to prepare it for future outfits and clothes try-ons.
You can simply make a photo of a certain item, or even a screenshot from a website, and upload it in the Google Doppl app to see how it might look on you.
After you upload the images that you want to see on the digital version of yourself, the Doppl AI technology will create a virtual image of you wearing those clothing items. The good news is that, besides a static image of yourself, the AI technology is also able to create a generated video of you, in order to have a more in-depth vision about how a certain outfit will look on you.
Even more so, the Google AI's new app has the option to store all these try-ons for future browsing. So, when you don’t know what to wear to a certain event or party, Doppl helps you choose the perfect outfit. You can even share your desired look with your friends in order to get more opinions.
If you remember the recently launched Google Shopping option, well, this new app is developed based on the Shopping capabilities, but combined into a new and interesting AI app. It’s true that the Google Shopping experience was indeed a useful one, but an individual app is more accessible for all users compared with just a feature for Android phones.
“We hope Doppl helps you explore your style in new and exciting ways. As a Google Labs experiment, Doppl is in its early days and it might not always get things right. Fit, appearance and clothing details may not always be accurate.”, Google stated in their recent announcement blog post.
You must know that for now, the Google AI Doppl app has been launched as an experimental version, so we don’t know for sure when or if other countries will also have this app available soon.
