Garmin Instinct 3
Garmin came out with a new model and a new colorway that makes this watch eye-catching. The Instinct 3 isn’t an earth-shattering update over its predecessor, but it also doesn’t need to be.
Garmin was wise to stick with what people love about the series: a battery that is hard to beat, a sporty yet sleek look, a lot of health tips, an accurate GPS signal, and a price point that doesn’t make it unapproachable. The new model comes in a bunch of variants, including with or without solar charging and in 45mm or a bigger version with a 50 mm case size.
The non-solar version can now support a bright and immersive AMOLED screen – a first for the line. Even more so, the watch also has an LED flashlight that adorns the 12:00 position on all the models in the line and has a new metal bezel, which adds to the device’s durability.
MO/GO Power Pants
The MO/GO pants are a revolutionary mobility device designed to help adventurers tackle tough terrain without the usual strain or pain. Born from a collaboration between premium outerwear brand Arc’teryx and Skip, a Google hardware spinoff, these high-tech pants aim to redefine what’s possible on the trail.
Engineered to support movement and reduce fatigue, MO/GO pants blend advanced materials with smart assistance technology, making hiking more accessible and enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to my next chance to put them to the test in the actual wild.
Luckily, with Arc’teryx headquartered just a day’s drive away, a more in-depth field demo is definitely on the horizon!
Luna Ring 2
The Luna Ring 2 is another noteworthy wearable smart device that has made its presence acknowledged. The model is developed by the Indian-based tech company Noise and has a sleek, all-titanium build that is slightly lighter than the Oura Ring 4, delivering high-end health tracking features.
The devices come at a competitive price point of $300 price point, including advanced sensors that monitor heart health, sleep quality, energy levels, and more. Battery life lasts 5–6 days on a single charge, but with the optional charging case, users can extend that to nearly 30 days by periodically docking the ring.
