For the features, according to the tech enthusiast who already tested them, it seems that Headphone (1) has an impressive noise-canceling option, transparent modes, and even a bass enhancement for those who like to have an intense listening experience. Probably the most interesting feature is the Spatial Audio, which has been revealed until now only on AirPods. For Headphones (1), this feature is able to create a remarkable 3-D listening experience.
Even more so, the design of these headphones features a tactile button that allows you, if you also have the Nothing X app installed on your smartphone, to assign a trigger for it. You can choose to activate your AI assistant. Also, from the volume roller, users can play, pause, or activate the noise-canceling feature.
(Image credits: Nothing)The second device that has been launched at the Nothing event is Phone (3), which represents the newest smartphone from the Nothing portfolio. With pricing that starts at $799, this smartphone aims to be the alternative to Apple and Samsung devices, but combined into a unique and interesting design.
Two years since the last release of the Nothing Phone (2), this London-based company had plenty of time to develop a much more powerful and smarter phone for its customers.
Regarding the design, Phone (3) follows the same aesthetic, with a transparent back design so you can see different components. But this time, the new smartphone model features a slightly changed camera placement. As some of you might say, these unaligned cameras look strange, but if you like unique products, you can easily find this design attractive.
Compared with the previous models, Nothing chose to rearrange the LEDs on the back of the phones, which shows different notifications and alerts without actually looking at your phone.
Now, the new design features just a mini LED screen in the top right corner, which is able to show more details about your latest notifications. You can also integrate mini-apps for this interface.
And because everything is now released with at least a couple of artificial intelligence features. Additionally, the Essential Phone (3) was released, along with the Essential Space and Essential Search. Essential Space allows users to save screenshots, take notes, and even record meetings to have a full transcription of the entire conversation. Essential Search, on the other hand, is improving the search experience, allowing users to search files, photos, and different settings on their phones.
The specifications are very interesting and can be easily compared with other smartphones in the market. Phone (3) features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5k resolution and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Even if the back cameras have sparked a lot of negative opinions, they feature together a 50-megapixel resolution. The selfie camera has also been upgraded, from 32 megapixels to 50 megapixels.
The pre-orders for the Phone (3) are starting on July 4, while the general access to purchase this new smartphone will start on July 15.
