If we listen to the analysts' opinions, we might determine that the Samsung giant purposefully launched the Samsung S25 Edge smartphone before the next Apple launch. As some rumors state, Apple is expected to launch a slimmer smartphone too, so this rivalry is pretty strong.
For the U.S. market, the Samsung S25 Edge release date is May 30, while in South Korea, the Samsung S25 Edge flagship will be released a few days earlier, on May 23. It should be mentioned that these are not the only two countries where the new Samsung flagship will be available, as the company will introduce it to more than 30 countries worldwide, including the Chinese and European markets.
So, the Samsung S25 Edge price starts at $1,099, for a smartphone model that has a 6.7-inch screen and a thickness of only 5.8 millimeters. Crazy right?
Compared with the base model of the S25 line, the S25 Edge has a slightly bigger design in terms of screen size but is significantly slimmer than any smartphone ever released.
Even more so, the Samsung S25 Edge will be released in a range of beautiful colors, including Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Silver.
It’s important to mention that as the industry competitors impose, it has impressive artificial intelligence features such as multimodal AI that enables the option to interact with the device using vision and voice recognition based on the smartphone camera.
Regarding the performance concerns, that, to be honest, we all have since it is the slimmest phone ever made, the company has made a statement during the Samsung launch in order to reduce any issues or concerns.
"Some may worry that a thinner phone compromises performance or struggles with heat management. We managed to engineer a thinner vapor chamber to fit the slim design, and we put everything into making that happen. We’re confident the S25 Edge can be used without concerns about overheating," Moon Sung-hoon, the Samsung Electronics Executive Vice President, stated.
