Currently, there are various concerns and copyright lawsuits in the generative AI field because various companies use large amounts of data, which also includes copyrighted content gathered from web sources.
Most companies that develop these AI models claim that using copyrighted data for training falls under fair use and doesn’t require compensation, but various creators along with IP rights holders do not agree with these facts.
The F lite model offers for its users two versions called Standard and Texture. It should be mentioned that each version was trained only on an internal dataset equivalent to 80 million images.
While the Standard version was created to be more predictable and to generate images according to the given prompt, the texture version is more likely to have errors. However, according to the company, even though the Texture version is more likely to fail, it is able to deliver higher-quality images.
It’s important to know that even if it was recently released with impressive capabilities, the Freepik company doesn’t mention that it can easily surpass the most popular and advanced image generators such as Midjourney or Black Forest. The F lite goal is to be an AI model that has an open characteristic so developers can improve it and tailor it according to their needs.
But this doesn’t mean that the F Lite Freepik AI model is a terrible image generator. In fact, it’s an advanced one, with impressive features that require a high-quality GPU with a minimum of 24 VRAM (video random access memory).
Stay tuned to find out more about the features and characteristics of F lite!
